The Wisconsin Emergency Assistance Volunteer Registry (WEAVR) is Wisconsin's initiative to pre-register, manage, and mobilize clinical and non-clinical volunteers to help in responding to all types of disasters. The volunteer management system is part of a nation-wide effort to make sure that volunteer professionals can be quickly identified and their credentials checked so that they can be properly utilized in response to a public health emergency or disaster. WEAVR is developed to facilitate health and medical response through identification, credentialing, and deployment of volunteers.
If you are a health professional (medical, behavioral health, animal health, and emergency medical services), someone with skills to help support a public health emergency response, or a health care professional volunteer willing to serve in an emergency, then please register in the Wisconsin Emergency Assistance Volunteer Registry today.
WEAVR is a web-based online registration system for Wisconsin's health professional volunteers willing to serve in an emergency. WEAVR is a partnership that integrates local, regional, and statewide volunteer programs such as the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) and Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT) to assist our public health and health care systems during a disaster.
