Volunteering is not a "one size fits all" deal and neither is volunteer management. These upcoming national and state conferences and events will help you gain advice, learn new strategies, get up to date with the world of volunteer management, and lead to valuable networking opportunities. Attending conferences can lead to valuable networking opportunities for you and the organization you represent. This list will continue to be updated as we become aware of upcoming conferences and training events.

Early registration has opened for the 48th Annual WVCA Conference!

Early registration goes until April 3, 2017 (Note that this is also the hotel deadline). Late registration will remain open until April 19, 2017 and no refunds will granted after this date.

Registration Prices:

  • Early registration (until April 3)  for WVCA members: $125
  • Early registration for non-members (until April 3): $150
  • Late registration (April 4-April 19) for WVCA members: $150
  • Late registration (April 4-April 19) for non-members: $175

The Enterprising Nonprofits 2017 event offers opportunities to share best practices, collaborate, and network to support the community. For-profit and nonprofit business leaders join forces to share knowledge in breakout sessions that focused on a variety of topics including nonprofit boards, employee programs, volunteer programs, and the needs of executive directors and development directors.

Early Bird Registration is $45 until April 14, 2017. Registration after April 14, 2017 will be $60.

2017 Conference on Volunteering and Service

Points of Light's Conference on Volunteering and Service is the largest service-related convening of nonprofit, government, business and civic leaders in the world. Each year, thousands of people who really care about the future of volunteer service convene in one place - to learn from, share with and get inspired by one another- to work together to increase the number of volunteers in the world and the impact of the work they do.

Early bird registration begins February 24 and is ongoing until April 28. Regular registration will be from April 29 to June 16 and onsite registration will be June 19-21.
